Our workhorses

Used to control coolant circuits in heavy-duty engines such as trucks, ships, and locomotives, with coolant flow rates exceeding approximately 30 m3/h. The annular slide principle employed ensures axial relief for the wax element, and thus precise regulation in conjunction with high functional reliability and durability, even under  high hydraulic loads.

Map-controlled heavy-duty thermostat inserts

An electric heating resistor controlled by the engine management map is integrated into the wax element. This allows two temperature levels with just one thermostat. The result is increased engine power and lower fuel consumption and emissions.
